Description	:	Coleen Thorington Beverly Coleen Thorington, 70, of Danville, formerly of New London, died Friday, May 14, 2010, at Great River Hospice House in West Burlington. Born Oct. 11, 1939, in New London, she was the daughter of Woodrow Wilson and Frances Lucille Kendall Brown. On July 17, 1960, she married Robert W. Thorington in New London. He died on Feb. 14, 2005. Mrs. Thorington was a homemaker and of the Protestant faith. She was a 1957 graduate of New London High School. She enjoyed gardening, flowers and embroidery. Read More	Coleen Thorington Beverly Coleen Thorington, 70, of Danville, formerly of New London, died Friday, May 14, 2010, at Great River Hospice House in West Burlington. Born Oct. 11, 1939, in New London, she was the daughter of Woodrow Wilson and Frances Lucille Kendall Brown. On July 17, 1960, she married Robert W. Thorington in New London. He died on Feb. 14, 2005. Mrs. Thorington was a homemaker and of the Protestant faith. She was a 1957 graduate of New London High School. She enjoyed gardening, flowers and embroidery. Survivors include two sons, Rick Thorington and Robert Thorington, both of Cedar Rapids; one daughter, Debra Lund of Danville; one grandson; and one sister, Donna DuPree of New London. Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by one son and a sister. Visitation will begin at noon Tuesday at Elliott Chapel in New London with family receiving friends from 5 to 7 p.m. The graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Brooks Cemetery, rural New London. The procession will leave Elliott Chapel at 10:45 a.m. A memorial has been established for Brooks Cemetery.
