Born on Dec. 11, 1904, in San Pierre, she was the daughter of Josef and Josephine (Dolzal) Cesal. She had spent most of her adult life in Tefft, moving to Chicago 35 years ago. Read More	Rensselaer Republican Mon., Sep 12, 1994 Blanche (Cesal) Hansen, 89, of DeMotte, died at 8:20 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 10, 1994, in the Porter Memorial Hospital in Valparaiso. Born on Dec. 11, 1904, in San Pierre, she was the daughter of Josef and Josephine (Dolzal) Cesal. She had spent most of her adult life in Tefft, moving to Chicago 35 years ago. She had resided in the Pacillion Nursing Home since July. She was married in February 1933, in North Judson to Knud Oscar Frederick Hansen who preceded her in death on Dec. 21, 1965. Mrs. Hansen taught all subjects in a one room school at Bass Lake, Ind., and had als been employed at the Palmer House Hotel while in Chicago. She was affiliated with the United Methodist Church and belonged to the Poet and Patrons Club in Chicago, was an avid gardener, seamstess and loved various crafts. Many of her beautirul poems have been published. Her survivors indclue one daughter, Elaine E. Hansen of DeMotte; one son, Nils A. (Patricia) Hansen of Crete, Ill.; three grandchildren; Carla Luzadder, Lynn Wischover and Alan Hansen Jr.; ten great-grandchildren, Jennifer Chandler, Jessica Jones, Christopher Luzadder, Justine Allen, Danielle Allen, Britini Wischover, Joshua Wischover, Sarah Hansen, Nicole Hansen and Eric Hansen; two great-great-grandchildren, Dustyn Jones and Felicia Chandler, and one brohther, Otto Cesal of West Lafayette. She was preceded in death by her husband, Knud, one grandson, Rick Allen; one sister, Helen Finn; and one brother George Cesal. Interment will be in San Pierre Cemetery.
