Description	:	Blanche McIntosh Fox Died at University Hospital Mrs. Blanche Fox, 57 year old resident of Morning Sun, passed away at the University hospital at Iowa City at 10:30 o'clock Saturday night, November 17; her death was the result of a streptococcus infection. Mrs. Fox had been taken to the hospital for treatment of pneumonia Saturday morning and there it was discovered that she was affected with the more serious disease. Mrs. Fox had been taken to the hospital for treatment of pneumonia Saturday morning and there it was discovered that she was affected with the more serious disease. Everything was done, but it was impossible to save her. She was born in Van Buren county, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank McIntosh, and formerly lived with her husband, J.H. Fox at Cantril some years ago where he operated a blacksmith shop. Surviving are two sisters and four brothers; James and Craig McIntosh and Margaret Werts of Keosauqua, Dan McIntosh of Milton, Harrison McIntosh of Keokuk and Mrs. R.J. Diercks of Muscatine. Funeral services were held yesterday (Tuesday) at Morning Sun in the Methodist church. Burial was in Purdom cemetery at Keosauqua. Source: Van Buren Co.
