Description	:	MEBANE - Bogous J. Shue Sr., 92, of 2763 Lynch Store Road, died Monday, June 30, 2008, at his residence after two and one-half years of declining health. A native of Mebane, he was the husband for 70 years to Mary Shanklin Shue, who survives, and the son of the late Robert Harper and Margaret May Shue. He was retired from the hosiery industry and was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. Shue Sr., 92, of 2763 Lynch Store Road, died Monday, June 30, 2008, at his residence after two and one-half years of declining health. A native of Mebane, he was the husband for 70 years to Mary Shanklin Shue, who survives, and the son of the late Robert Harper and Margaret May Shue. He was retired from the hosiery industry and was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. Survivors other than his wife of the home include a daughter, Ruby Carter of Mebane; sons, Haywood and wife, Linda Shue, Cecil Shue and Jay Shue, all of Mebane, and Harvey and wife, Louise Shue, of Efland; nine grandchildren; four stepgrandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; 10 great-stepgrandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by sisters, Florence McGee and Esper Wilkins; brothers, Jim Shue and Bynum Shue; and grandsons, Jackie Shue and George Shue. A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Lebanon United Methodist Church cemetery by the Rev. Rick Webster. The body will remain at McClure Funeral Home in Mebane until taken to the cemetery for the service. The family will receive friends at the residence.
