A Graveside Service will be held in the Grafton Cemetery following the Funeral Service. Memorials are suggested to the family. ========================== Bonnie Belle Crooker was born to Claude Wallace Crooker and Alda Violet (Anderson) Crooker on February 24, 1924 in Koshopah, Nebraska. She passed away April 17, 2018 at Heritage Crossings Nursing Home in Geneva, Nebraska at the age of 84 years, 1 month, and 24 days. She was one of thirteen children in the family. Bonnie received her 8th grade education before marrying Kenneth John Mizner of Ainsworth, Nebraska on March 30, 1950. Seven children were born to this union. They were married for 61 ½ years and lived most of their married life around Fairmont, Nebraska. Bonnie cooked for years in Hastings, Nebraska at the OK Café and in York, Nebraska at Skelly’s before disability forced her to retire. Bonnie enjoyed collecting cooking jars, fishing and most of all family. She also enjoyed her bird Doo Doo. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Kenneth; son Dale Mizner; five sister and four brothers. She is survived by her very special brother Richard Crooker and wife Marilyn of Newport, Nebraska; sister Maxima Sailas of Las Vegas, Nevada; brother Jack Crooker of Missouri; children Darlene & Gary Warren of Fairmont, Nebraska, Steve & Penny Galliart of Grand Island, Nebraska, Darwin & Kathy Mizner of Fremont, Nebraska, Larry & Sue Mizner of North Sioux City, South Dakota, Jerry Mizner & Naomi Green of Fairmont, Nebraska, Laine & Kay Young of Fremont, Nebraska; 18 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, 13 great great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. A Funeral Service for Bonnie was held on Monday, April 23, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. at the Farmer & Son Funeral Home in Geneva. Pastor Jeff Jensen officiated the service. The recorded selections “The Old Rugged Cross,” “I Won’t Have To Walk Across Jordan Alone,” and “My Mama’s A Star.” Pallbearers included Jesse Young, Kenny Nelson, Trinity Mizner, Colton Mizner, Travis Galliart, and Lloyd Lowe. Interment was held in the Grafton Cemetery following the Funeral Service. Farmer & Son Funeral Home of Geneva conducted the services and online condolences can be left at www.farmerandsonfuneralhome.com. Memorials are suggested to the family.
