Description	:	Bonnie Mae Chambers, the daughter of Herbert and Lena (Sund) Finnell, was born on June 11, 1921 at Superior, Nebraska. She passed away on October 10, 2008 at the Brodstone Memorial Hospital in Superior at the age of 87 years, 3 months and 29 days. Bonnie was united in marriage to Clarence Chambers on September 24, 1944 at Mankato, Kansas. She was a lifetime resident of Superior, Nebraska and a lifetime member of the First Baptist Church in Superior. She passed away on October 10, 2008 at the Brodstone Memorial Hospital in Superior at the age of 87 years, 3 months and 29 days. Bonnie was united in marriage to Clarence Chambers on September 24, 1944 at Mankato, Kansas. She was a lifetime resident of Superior, Nebraska and a lifetime member of the First Baptist Church in Superior. Bonnie was blessed with a green thumb, she enjoyed gardening and taking care of her houseplants. She enjoyed many family vacations to Colorado and in her earlier years made many patchwork quilts with her mother. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Clarence, one son Howard, two brothers, Glenn and Orie and four sisters, Opal, Nellie, Erma and Ruby. She is survived by her sons Dan & wife Pam of Altoona, IA and Eugene Finnell & wife Arlene of St. Johns, AZ; seven grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews other relatives and a host of friends. Funeral services were held on Wednesday, October 15, 2008 from Megrue-Price Funeral Home Chapel in Superior with David Sherwood officiating. Music was "The Old Rugged Cross" & "Amazing Grace", with Betty Schott as organist. Pallbearers were Don Kottmeyer, Gary Keeling, George Stierwalt, Harold Wilton, Jim Rust, and Jim Harvey. Interment was in the Evergreen Cemetery at Superior, Nebraska Memorials may go to the Brodstone Memorial Hospital in Bonnie's memory. Condolences may be sent to Megrue-Price Funeral Home, PO Box 282, Superior, NE 68978. Megrue-Price Funeral Home of Superior, Nebraska was in charge of the arrangements.
