Description	:	Bruce Raymond Jorgensen, son of Nels and Rosamond Jorgensen and husband of Florence Jorgensen, was born in Minden, Nebr., on April 25, 1948. He passed away August 29, 1976, at Creighton Memorial St Joseph's Hospital in Omaha., at the age of 28 years, 4 months and 4 days. He was baptized and confirmed at Fredericksburg Lutheran Church where he sang in the choir, taught Sunday School and was a soloist for many occasions. Presently he had been serving as a deacon. Bruce graduated from Minden High School in 1966, where he was active in sports and music. In 1968 Bruce graduated from Central Nebraska Technical Community College, Hastings, with an electronics degree. He served two years in the United States Army being honorably discharged in 1971. He was a member of the American Legion, the Minden Gun Club and Fredericksburg bowling team. On April 6, 1974, Bruce was united in marriage to Florence Irene Gruber, Gresham., Nebr. They lived in Minden, where Bruce was engaged in farming with his father. He is survived by his wife, Florence; parents, Mr and Mrs Nels Jorgensen; sister, Mrs Dennis (Nelda) Fleharty, Hastings; grandmother, Mrs Carolyn Werth; four nephews; a host of relatives; and many, many friends. Funeral services were held Wednesday, Sept 1, 1976 at the Fredericksburg Lutheran Church, with Pastor Larry Lepper officiating. Burial was at the Fredericksburg Cemetery. Layton Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
