Description	:	BURCH BEAVERS DIES Burch Beavers for sixteen years a resident of Villisca, died Monday morning at 12:30 at his home on Second Street, his death resulting from heart trouble. He had not been in good health since he was sick with influenza last winter, but during the week previous to his death he had been feeling better than usual. On Saturday evening he was able to come down town but suffered a sinking spell about 10 o'clock Sunday night while sitting on his porch and although medical aid was summoned at once, his death followed soon after. On Saturday evening he was able to come down town but suffered a sinking spell about 10 o'clock Sunday night while sitting on his porch and although medical aid was summoned at once, his death followed soon after. Mr. Beavers was born September 22, 1849, in Highland County, Ohio and was married to Miss Ellen Sexton in Page County, Iowa, when he was 19 years of age, and to them two children were born. They are Mrs. Cora Shannon of Lincoln, Nebraska and Miss Laura Beavers of Pawnee City, Nebraska. Mr. Beavers leaves also two sisters and three brothers. They are Mrs. G. W. Sams, Villisca; Mrs. Mary Chase, Lebanon, Kansas; A. J. Beavers, Clarinda; F. P. Beavers, Hepburn; C. W. Beavers, Story, Wyoming. Mr. Beavers was a member of the Presbyterian Church. The funeral was held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the home with Rev. E. S. Menoher in charge of the service. Burial was in Villisca Cemetery.
