Description	:	Burl Oldaker Burl Oldaker, 96, of Brown Avenue, Belington, died Monday, Jan. 26, 2004, at his home following an extended illness. He was born May 13, 1907, in Upshur County, the son of the late Ernest and Cleo Wilmoth Oldaker. On March 25, 1946, he married the former Virgie Cleona Biller, who preceded him in death on April 25, 1994. Surviving are one daughter, Karen Oldaker of Brown Avenue, Belington; one stepson, Leslie "Pete" Radabaugh of Amma; two grandchildren, Lori Ann Snyder and Robert Earl Oldaker; and seven stepgrandchildren. Surviving are one daughter, Karen Oldaker of Brown Avenue, Belington; one stepson, Leslie "Pete" Radabaugh of Amma; two grandchildren, Lori Ann Snyder and Robert Earl Oldaker; and seven stepgrandchildren. He was preceded in death by one son, Robert Randel Oldaker; and by one stepson, Carol Radabaugh. He was the last member of his immediate family and was preceded in death by two sisters and two brothers. Mr. Oldaker was retired from tunnel maintenance for the B&O Railroad. He was a veteran of World War II and with the U.S. Army Air Corps. He was a life member of Laurel Mountain Post 410 Veterans of Foreign Wars at Belington. Friends may call at the Schoonover-Stemple Funeral Chapel in Belington from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. Wednesday and until 11 a.m. Thursday, when funeral services will be conducted from the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Jim Tallman officiating. Interment will follow in the Lambert Chapel Cemetery where military rites will be accorded by American Legion Post 44. Schoonover-Stemple Funeral Chapel is entrusted with arrangements.
