"Bo" Henry, 84, will be at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Colfax (Wash.) Cemetery. Memorial service will follow at 2 p.m. at Hennessey-Smith Funeral Home. Mr. Henry, who died Thursday, was born in Endicott, Wash. He graduated from Endicott High School and attended Washington State College, where he was a member of Alpha Tau Omega fraternity. He was a longtime Colfax insurance and real estate broker and had served as mayor of Colfax in 1944. He was chairman of the Whitman County Ration Board during World War II and former president of the Colfax Chamber of Commerce and was active in the Republican Party. He was also involved in obtaining the property for the Colfax Airport and the Palouse Empire Fairgrounds. He had lived in Spokane the past 19 years. Mr. Henry was a member of Hiram Masonic Lodge 21, York Rite Masons, El Katif Shrine Temple, the Prosperity Club and the Empire Club. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Mary; a daughter, Nancy Brandon of Vancouver, Wash.; three sons, John Henry of Colfax, William Henry of Spokane and Byron Henry of Vancouver, Wash.; a sister, Margaret Henry of San Francisco; 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Memorial contributions may be made to the Shriners Hospital for Children or the Hutton Settlement.
