"Bill" Wright, 89, of Twilight Acres, Wall Lake, Ia., were held at 2 p.m. Monday, January 2, 1984, at Emmanuel Presbyterian Church in Carnarvon, Ia., with the Rev. Donald Gibson officiating. Mr. Wright passed away Friday, December 30, 1983, at Manning General Hospital, Manning, Ia. Music was by Mrs. Marilyn Aschinger, soloist. Mrs. Dennis Mein was the accompanist. Mrs. Tollie Peters and Mrs. Bilda Corn were in charge of the floral arrangements. "Bill" Wright was born October 17, 1894, at Herring, Iowa, the son of Melvin and Ida Eaton Wright. He married Tena Wright on February 7, 1917, at Wall Lake. They were the parents of five daughters and four sons. Mr. Wright was a retired trucker. He had been a resident of Twilight Acres for many years. Survivors include five daughters: Darlene (Mrs. L.F.) Campbell of Royal, Ia., Delores (Mrs. Marvin) Blessington and Elenora (Mrs. Jess) Bromley, both of Lake View, Ia., Dorothy Hintz of Wall Lake, and Donna (Mrs. Ivan) Daiker of Onamia, Minn.; four sons: Melvin of Early, Wayne of Walled Lake, Mich., Robert of Lake View, and Kenneth of Carroll, Ia.; 35 grandchildren; 60 great-grandchildren; 17 great-great-grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Mrs. Laura Wright of Wall Lake; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Tena; two sons-in-law: Jess Morton and Harold Hintz; three brothers: Harvey. Bert and Ray; a sister, Faye Janssen; and five great-grandchildren.
