Officiating at the service was Rev. Ron Traub. Pianist was Luke Vettle. Pam Ensz and Jodi Mangold sang Midnight Cry. Honorary pallbearers were Ron Swanson and John Wildeboer. Calvin Joe Wildeboer was born on a farm southeast of Lennox on Oct. 12, 1936, the son of Claus and Effie (Bartels) Wildeboer. He attended rural school and grew to manhood there. On Oct. 6, 1961 he was united in marriage to Bonita Nelson in Sioux Falls. Following their marriage they farmed on the home farm southeast of Lennox for two and one-half years and then farmed near Hartford for six and one-half years. They then moved to Sioux Falls where Cal was employed at John Morrell & Co. for 32 years, until he retired in 2001 due to failing health. After his retirement, he enjoyed his custodial job at the church. Calvin was a member of First Assembly of God Church in Sioux Falls. His life is described as one of faithfulness and devotion to his family and his work. He was preceded in death by his father in 1964; his mother in 1976; one sister, Grace in 1969; three brothers: Eppo, 1992; Martin, 2003; and Donald, 2004. Survivors include his wife, Bonita; three daughters and their husbands: Pam and Randy Ensz of Tea, Jodi and Rod Mangold of Sioux Falls, and Shannon and Charles Tomlin of Bentonville, Arkansas; four grandchildren: Ashlyn Ensz, Alexa Ensz, Andrew Tomlin, and Benjamin Mangold; three bothers and their wives: Harm (Pearl) Wildeboer of Parker, John (Gloria) Wildeboer of Lennox, and Henry (Marlene) Wildeboer of Worthing; three sisters: Leona Wildeboer, Rena and Harold Heibult, and Hilda and Bob Soderberg, all of Sioux Falls.
