Description	:	Funeral services were held Friday at 2 o'clock for Ira Stevens, life-long Queen Anne's waterman, who died Oct. 12, at his home in Dominion after an illness of five years. The Rev. Ira Steckman, pastor of the Kent Island Methodist Charge, officiated at the services in the Lane Funeral Home, with interment in Stevensville Cemetery. Mr. Stevens was born, Aug. 17, 1881, in this county, a son of the late Walter and Ann Stevens. He followed the water 45 years. Stevens, all of Chester. There are seven grandchildren. Pallbearers were: Phillip Whitby, Robert Walters, John Schulz, Oscar Schulz, Jr., Edward Severa and Herman Stevens.
