Description	:	Capt. John Manning, s. of Samuel Manning, Jr. and Deborah Spalding, bapt. Jan. 17, 1696/7 at Cambridge, Mass. (First Chh. Rec.) He d. at Windham, Conn. on May 5, 1760, Æ 64 according to his date of bapt., but see the note to his gravestone transcription. In circa 1718, John m. Abigail Winship, dau. of Joseph Winship and Sarah Harrington, bapt. Oct. 16, 1698 at Cambridge, Mass. (First Chh. Rec.). She d. at Windham, Conn. on July 30, 1770.
