John Sherman born 14 Apr 1791Carver, MA. Married first, Eleanor Barnes, intent 9 Sep 1813 Carver, MA, married second Mrs. Sally Morton, nee Ransom 25 May 1829. John died 30 Apr 1845. Four children were born to John and Eleanor, Lydia Sherman born 30 Aug 1814, Mercy Carver Sherman born 25 Oct 1817, Eleanor Sherman born 24 Dec 1824 and Betsey Williams Sherman born 23 Jul 1827; two children were born to John and Sally, Sally Ransom Sherman born 27 Aug 1830 and John Sherman born 15 Mar 1834. 3. Anthony Sherman born 6 Nov 1794 Carver, MA, drowned 11 Aug 1804 in his tenth year. 4. Reuben Sherman born 29 Mar 1797 or 1799 Carver, MA. Married Priscilla Palmer Hammond 4 Nov 1821 Carver, MA. From this union were born 3 children, Elizabeth Sherman born 3 Mar 1822, Priscilla Sherman born 12 Feb 1824 and Reuben Sherman born 19 Sep 1834, Reuben drowned at Wenham Pond 20 Jan 1846 at the age of 12 years and 4 months. 5. Henry Sherman born 24 Aug 1803 Carver, MA, died 15 Dec 1804. 6. Henry Sherman born 23 Dec 1806 Carver, MA. Married first Hannah Nelson Crocker 12 Jan 1832, married second Christina Crocker, intent to marry 29 Feb 1840. Henry died 12 Oct 1895 in Carver, MA. Both issues are from Henry and Christina, Nelson Crocker Sherman born 14 Mar 1841 and Hannah Crocker Sherman born 25 Nov 1842. Note: Most likely Hannah Nelson Crocker and Cristina Crocker are sisters. 7. Anthony Sherman born 2 Feb 1809 Mrs. Hannah Cole, nee Tlson 19 May 1844 in Carver, MA. Anthony died 17 Aug 1859 in Carver. From the union of Anthony and Hannah there were two known issues, Lydia Doten Sherman, born 20 Jun 1845 and John Sherman, born 3 Sep 1847.
