He was born in Nemaha County,NE June 25, 1903, the son of Frank and Mary Chamberlain Argabright. He grew up in Nemaha and attended school there. He was the elder of the Christian Church of Hiawatha. He was born in Nemaha County,NE June 25, 1903, the son of Frank and Mary Chamberlain Argabright. He grew up in Nemaha and attended school there. He was the elder of the Christian Church of Hiawatha. He served as trustee for Irving Township for many years and had been on the board at the Hiawatha Community Hospital. He was married to Helen M. Knapp June 18, 1924 at Rock Port, MO. They farmed near Nemaha until 1944 when they moved to a farm northwest of Robinson, Ks.They retired from farming in 1969, moving to Hiawatha in 1984. Helen died Jan. 13, 1996. He was preceded in death by a sister, Mildred Russell and a brother, John Argabright. Survivors were 2 sons, Maurice D. and Don Lee. a daughter Beth Knipe, a sister, Madge Egge, a sister in law. Norma Stalder. eight grandchildren 14 great grandchildren. Funeral services were May 1 at the First Christian Church of Hiawatha, KS. with Pastor Douglas Amend officiating. Interment followed in the Nemaha Cemetery.
