Description	:	Carlos Leroy Ridgley died Sunday at 2:30 p.m. at his home, 311 S. Second Street, following a two weeks illness of heart trouble. He was born in Morgan County on February 7, 1872. Mr. Ridgley was a retired glass worker and had resided in Byesville the past 50 years. He was a member of the Assembly of God Church. Mr. Ridgley was first married to Arminta Henry who died in 1909. Surviving are two daughters, Myrtle Ridgley of the home, Mrs. Thelma Meighen, Cambridge; six sons, Cecil, Harold, Donald of Byesville; Orton of Pleasant City, Raymond of Newcomerstown, Herbert, New Castle, Pa.; 12 grandchildren; three great grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Effie Wiley, Byesville, and Mrs. Etta Miller, Malta, and two brothers, Frank and Ansel Ridgley of Byesville. Funeral services were conducted Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Main Avenue Methodist church with Rev. J.C. Gott, Rev. Tice Snider, and Rev. Floyd Gaugler officiating.
