State St. Mr. Ridgley, who retired last January from the Heller Co. where he had been employed as a machinist, died suddenly of a heart attack at 11pm Tuesay in his home. State St. Mr. Ridgley, who retired last January from the Heller Co. where he had been employed as a machinist, died suddenly of a heart attack at 11pm Tuesay in his home. A son of Carlos and Arminta Henry Ridgley, he was born Dec. 24, 1897 in Morgan County and was twice married. His first wife, the former Ethel Craft, died April 9, 1961; and on Feb. 6, 1953 he married Mrs. Beatrice Atkinson who survives, along with a son, William of Newcomerstown; a stepson Paul Dale Atkinson of Eatontown, NJ; two grand children and two step-grandchildren. He also leaves two sisters, Mrs. William Meighen of Cambridge and Miss Myrtle Ridgley of Byesville; and five brothers, Cecil, Harold, and Donald Ridgley, all of Byesville, Orten of Pleasant City, and Herbert, of New Castle, PA. One Daughter and one brother are deceased. He was a member of the Church of Christ and Evangelist David Reppart will officiate at the services there. The Addy Funeral Home on W. State St. has charge of arrangements and friends will be recieved there from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm today.
