On August 1, 1964 she was united in marriage to Ronald Hills at the United Methodist Church in West Branch. She was a member of the West Branch Methodist Church and West Branch Booster Club. She enjoyed going to the Station Inn, Nashville TN. listening to Country swing music where she was known as "Carol of the Cookie Lady" and attending the Grand Ole Opry. She is survived by her husband, Ronald Hills of West Branch, four children, Curtiss Hills of Lady Lake FL. Douglas Hill and wife Rachel of Iowa City, Matthew Hills and wife Jeanna of West Branch, and Dustin Hills of Iowa City. 12 grandchildren, Cody, Dalton,Taylor,Courtney, Trevor,Jordan,Jacob,Teagin, Austin, Mattie, Gavin,and Nathan and his sister, Sandy Bell and husband Larry of West Branch. She was preceded in death by her parents, step father, William Fogo, sister, Nancy Johnson and brother, Robert Ohrt.
