Phil Leipold will be officiating. There will be a visitation at Fry Funeral Home on Monday, July 15, 2013 from 4-7 pm. Burial will be at Tipton Masonic Cemetery. Robert was born January 15, 1945, in Cedar County, Iowa. He was the son of William Christian and Marguerite Lois Taylor Ohrt. He was a 1963 graduate of West Branch High School. On March 13, 1965, Robert was united in marriage to Judy Verlee Daufeldt in Rochester, Iowa. He was employed as a maintenance worker for Oscar Mayer for 10 years and prior to that Robert was employed by Louis Rich for many years. Robert enjoyed playing cards and bingo, stock car racing, watching his grandchildren at sporting events and was a member of the "Hardees Coffee Club." Robert is loved and survived by his wife, Judy Ohrt of Tipton; his children, Rodney (Debbie) Ohrt of Tipton, Tracy (Terry) Stotler of Solon, and Mandy Ohrt of Cedar Rapids; grandchildren, Britton, Alyssa, and Brady Stotler, Ashley and Garrett Hepker, and Nolan Ohrt; great grandchild, Kaden Timmerman; sisters, Carol Hills of Tipton and Sandy Bell of West Branch. He was preceded in death by his parents, William Ohrt and Marguerite Fogo; and sister, Nancy Johnson.
