Description	:	Carol Maxine Fisher, only daughter of Hazel Troy and Helen Maxwell Fisher, was born in Superior Feb. 19, 1931. She was raised in Superior, attended Superior Public Schools and graduated from Superior High school with the class of 1949. While attending college at Nebraska Wesleyan, she received a degree in education. Her first teaching job was in York for one year and then in Norfolk for two years. She then moved to Omaha where she taught at Westside School for three years. From Omaha she moved to Ham- mond, Ind., where she was employed by Hammond High School for 28 years, retiring in 1988. Survivors are her mother, Helen Fisher, Superior; brother, Rex Fisher, Rochester, Minn.; two nephews, Troy and Tony Fisher; and special friends, Rita Grose and Frances Winter, Hammond. Miss Fisher died Aug. 20 in the Community Hospital, Munster, Ind., at the age of 59 years, 6 months and 1 day. The funeral was Thursday, Aug. 23, at 10:30 a.m., from the Megrue-Price Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jerry Heydenberk officiating. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery.
