In 1891 [1890], at the age of 13 years, she came with her mother and two sisters to this country, and settled in Dayton, Iowa. In 1891 [1890], at the age of 13 years, she came with her mother and two sisters to this country, and settled in Dayton, Iowa. Here she was reared to young womanhood and on October 11, 1899, was united in marriage to John Littzen. To their union two children were born, Anna, now deceased, and Wesley, who lives in Dayton. On April 29, 1918, the family suffered the loss of husband and father. On October 18, 1922, Mrs. Littzen was married to Eric P. Forsberg of Dayton. Mrs. Forsberg was a member of the former Swedish M. E. Church of Dayton, and shared in the union of that organization with Grace M. E. Church a number of years ago. When her health permitted, she was regular in attendance at church services; great was her faith in God. The children of her acquaintance loved her much, and frequently visited in her home. For a number of years, Mrs. Forsberg's health has been poor. Very confining has been the last year of her suffering. On Sunday of last week, she said farewell to this life, remembering that the Lord is a rewarder of those who diligently seek him. Her last words were: "God bless my heart." Those mourning her loss are her husband, Eric Forsberg, and her son, Wesley Littzen; also three sisters, Mrs. John Sandegren of Rockford, Illinois, Mrs. C. E. Carlson of Burdick, Kansas, and Mrs. Anna Selgren of Dayton, and a brother, Gust Eastlund [Östlund], who lives in Sweden. Her funeral was held on Wednesday afternoon of last week from the former Swedish Methodist Church, where many years of her church life was spent, her pastor, Rev. Watson Herrold in charge. Burial was made in Dayton cemetery.
