Description	:	MRS. C. C. KING DIES AT HOME HERE; FINAL RITES HELD Mrs. Columbus C. King, 78, died Monday evening at her home here, following several months illness. She was a member of The Review’s 75 Year Club. Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon from the Pitman Funeral home and burial was made at the Villisca Cemetery. The Rev. L. B. Carpenter was in charge of the final rites. Pall bearers included Louis Enarson, Henry Enarson, John Winter, George Pratt, Guy Dirrim, and Harry Dirrim. Caroline Carrie Copelin was born November 5, 1860 in LaPorte, Indiana, a daughter of David B Copelin and Sarah Elizabeth Roberts. She was one of a family of five children, all of whom survived her. They are Joe Copelin, Villisca, Mrs. Will Walker and Ed Copelin, New London, Iowa, and Mrs. Chas Taylor, Vesper, Wisconsin. She was married to Columbus King, December 27, 1881 at New London and they moved to this territory from Indiana and 1885. Besides her brother and sisters, Mrs. King is survived by a daughter, Mrs. R. E. Taylor of Chicago, four grandchildren, Mrs. Charles McCandless, Omaha, Mrs. Owen Anderson, Evanston, Illinois, Wendell Taylor, Villisca, and Robert Taylor, Chicago, and two great grandchildren, Robert and Jean Anderson of Evanston, Illinois. Mrs. King was a member of the Methodist Church and the Sunshine Club. She had been in failing health all summer and her daughter had been caring for her here.
