Read More	Carrol Kenneth Noble, died Thursday, January 23, 2014 at the Wolf Memorial Good Samaritan Center, Albion, Nebraska. Carrol, son of Lemuel Alonzo and Sarah Frances (Young) Noble, was born June 8, 1921 near Akron, Nebraska. Carrol was baptized into the Methodist Faith. He attended Albion (NE.) Public Schools, graduating from Albion (NE.) High school in 1939. On August 31, 1943, Carrol was united in marriage to Verena Huisman. Following their marriage, Carrol became a member of the Catholic Faith. They made their home on a farm south of Petersburg, Nebraska until Carrol entered the United States Army on September 21, 1944 and they moved to Tyler, Texas. Carrol served until receiving an Honorable Discharge on November 2, 1945. Upon returning to Nebraska, they moved north of Cedar Rapids, Nebraska where Carrol continued farming and in 1949 they moved Northeast of Albion, Nebraska. In 1986, he retired from farming and they moved into Albion, Nebraska. Verena passed away in 2005 and Carrol moved into the Wolf Memorial Good Samaritan Home, Albion, Nebraska in 2006. Carrol was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church, Albion, Nebraska, District #61 Boone County, Nebraska School Board, Farm Bureau, Harmony Square's Dance Club, and Corn shellers Bowling Team. He spent many hours woodworking following his retirement. Carrol is survived by: daughters, Mary Urwin of Albion, Nebraska and Annette Mastny of Bellwood, Nebraska; grandchildren, Carl Urwin of St. Louis, Missouri, Yetta (Tom) Sullivan of Albion, Nebraska, Darin (Sarah) Urwin of Seward, Nebraska, Cherette (Shane) Bonomo of Rock Springs, Wyoming, Erik Mastny and friend Jessica Ondracek of Greenwood, Nebraska and Parker Mastny of David City, Nebraska; 6 great-grandchildren; sister, Margaret Reynoldson of Eagle, Nebraska; brother, Lemuel "Bud" (Toni) Noble of Omaha, Nebraska; sister-in-law, Charlotte Noble of Albion, Nebraska and a host of family and friends. Carrol was preceded in death by: parents; wife, Verena Noble; son, Charles Noble; sons-in-law, Marvin Bohaty, Dale Urwin and Edwin Mastny; brothers, Alton and John "Jack" (Adrene and Norma) Noble; sisters, Grace (Charles) Stelley, Elizabeth "Betty" (Raedell) Sindelar, Helen (Lee) Brunson, Arlene (Robert) Hamilton and Erma Jean (William) Cook. A Mass of Christian Burial was at 10:30 a.m. Monday, January 27, 2014, at St. Michael's Catholic Church, Albion, Nebraska with Fr. Stan Schmit as officiator. Interment was in St. Michael's Catholic Cemetery, Albion, NE.
