She was the wife of the late William L. Bodmer. Born in Maryland, she was a daughter of the late James W. and Hattie Case Ricketts. Surviving are two daughters, Mary B. Foster of Germantown, and Dorothy B. Himelright of West Virginia; three sons, Ernest R. Bodmer of Texas, Charles L. Bodmer of Gaithersburg, and Joseph C. Bodmer of Poolesville; two sisters, Dorothy Ricketts and Edna Wright; four brothers, Walter Ricketts, Forrest Ricketts, Thomas Ricketts and Leonard Ricketts; 11 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Mrs. Bodmer was preceded in death by a daughter, Martha B. Watts, and a son, Eugene Bodmer. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday, April 25, at the Hilton Funeral Home, 22111 Beallsville Road, Barnesville. Funeral services will begin at l p.m. Tuesday, April 26, at the funeral home. Interment will be in Monocacy Cemetery, Beallsville. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Frederick Memorial Hospital, W. Seventh Street, Frederick, Md. 21701.
