Description	:	Humboldt Independence Feb 25, 1930 Miss Cecelia Wolfe, a resident of Fort Dodge for twelve years and a former Humboldt resident, died at St. Joseph Mercy hospital following a stroke of apoplexy. Although Miss Wolfe had suffered from high blood pressure for a year or more, her heath came as a great shock to friends who believed her condition improving. Before coming to Fort Dodge she was employed in Humboldt for several years and went from there to Ft. Dodge, where she worked at the E.C. Bryant company. Miss Wolfe was the youngest of a family of thirteen children. Her parents died many years ago. Two brothers and five sisters survive. They are E.F. Wolfe of Malta, Montana; Maurice Wofe of Lytonn, Iowa; Mrs. Agnes Doyle; Mrs. John Alberts and Mrs. H.C. Goodyear of Pocahontas; Mrs. Joseph Henneberry of Cheyenne, Wyoming and Mrs. Walter Spence of Rolfe. The body was taken to Pocahontas to the home of Mrs. Agnes Doyle. Funeral services were held from Sacred Heart church. Burial took place in Calvary cemetery.∼OBITUARY: Pocahontas Democrat, Thursday, 20 Feb 1930, pg. 1 Hold Services for Celia Wolfe Here Tuesday Funeral services for Cecelia Wolfe were held at the Sacred Heart church, Tuesday morning, Rev. A. J. Wagener officiating. Miss Wolfe, who was a resident of Fort Dodge for 12 years before her death, died at Mercy hospital there, at ten o'clock Sunday morning, following a stroke of apoplexy. She was taken sick early Saturday evening, and was rushed to the hospital, but her right side was paralyzed when she reached there, and she soon became unconscious, in which condition she remained until her death. Miss Wolfe was born in Pocahontas, the youngest of thirteen children, and she spent her childhood days here. Later the family moved to Minnesota. Mr. and Mrs. Wolfe died many years ago, but two brothers and five sisters survive. They are E. F. Wolfe of Malta, Mont. [crease in paper] Wolfe of Lytton, Mrs. Agnes Doyle, Mrs. H. C. Goodyear and Mrs. John Alberts of Pocahontas, Mrs. Walter Spence of Rolfe and Mrs. Joseph Henneberry of Cheyenne, Wyo. The funeral services were held from the home of her sister Mrs. Agnes Doyle.
