As a child she moved with the family to the Grand Junction vicinity where she attended school. It was there she met and married Milton Delp on Nov. 26, 1919. To this union 13 children were born: six sons - Arthur Delp of Sac City, Warren of Dana, Jake and Leland of Grand Junction, Delmar of Fort Dodge, and Ronald of Jefferson: seven daughters - one who died in infancy, Mrs. Don (Margaret) Hall of Jefferson, Mrs. Henry (Marion) Kelley of Adel, Mrs. Paul (Eleanor) Little of Panora, Mrs. Owen (Dorothy) Williams, Mrs. Robert (Esther) Law, both of Jefferson and Mrs Jim (Martha) Godfrey of Fremont, Neb. In January of 1948 she was married to Walter J St. Peter at Jefferson, where she has since made her home. She was a member of the Central Christian Church, Jefferson. Preceding her in death are her infant daughter, her mother, one brother and one sister. Surviving are her husband, Walter, her 12 children; her father, Clarence Crooks of Grand Junction: one brother, Clifford of Grand Junction; two sisters. Mrs. Verle (Pauline) Ellwanger of Dana and Mrs. Leonard (Leone) Robson of Rippey; 27 grandchildren, other relatives and friends. Jefferson, Iowa Jefferson Herald, December 13, 1962
