Elliott, former resident of Crisfield, died suddenly in the Peninsula General Hospital, Salisbury, last Thursday morning as the result of a cerebral hemorrhage. She had been a patient at the hospital for three days. She passed her 79th birthday. Mrs. Elliott was born at Deal Island, the daughter of the late Bradsheh and Annora Smith Messick. She was the widow of the late James Elliott of Crisfield, who died in 1934. She had been a patient at the hospital for three days. She passed her 79th birthday. Mrs. Elliott was born at Deal Island, the daughter of the late Bradsheh and Annora Smith Messick. She was the widow of the late James Elliott of Crisfield, who died in 1934. Of recent years, Mrs. Elliott had been making her home with a son, Willard Elliott, in Ocean City, but often made lengthy visits with relatives here in the city. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at 2:30 from the MT. Pleasant Methodist church, conducted by the pastor, Rev. A. T. McFarland. Interment was in Sunnyridge Memorial Park Cemetery. Bearers were Charles "Biddie" Tull, Roger Tull, Tommy Cullen, Otis "Ditty" Harris, tom Windsor, and Carlton Windsor. She is survived by the following children: Thomas Elliott, Salisbury; John Elliott, Stockton; Robert Elliott, Willard Elliott, Harvey Elliott, and Mrs. Randolph Holland, all of Ocean City; and Mrs. Chris Owens, Crisfield. A sister, Mrs. Frances Harris, Laurel, Del. Also surviving are 40 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
