Read More	JAMES ELLIOTT DIED YESTERDAY Passed Away At Hospital After Long Illness FUNERAL SERVICES TO BE HELD SUNDAY James Elliott, age 73 years, died at the McCready Memorial Hospital in this city on Thursday from a complication of diseases after being ill for a long time. Mr. Elliott, who had made Crisfield his home for more than fifteen years, moved here from the upper part of the County several years ago and engaged in the seafood business as a waterman. He was well known by nearly all seafaring men who ply their trade upon the Chesapeake Bay and nearby waters. He was a man known for his square dealing, honesty and straight forwardness. He possessed a cheerful disposition and was ever ready to aid his fellow man. These characteristics made for him a host of friends who regret his passing. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Celia Elliott, four daughters, Mrs. Lucy Taylor, of Deals Island, Md., Mrs. Gertrude Holland, and Mrs. Lily Wilson, of Crisfield, and Mrs. Esther Owens of Salisbury, Md. Five sons also survive him, Thomas, John, Robert, Willard and Harry Elliott, all of Crisfield. He is also survived by one sister, Mrs. Julia Warner of Milford, Del., and four brothers, Edward, Milbourne, John, and Alonzo Elliott of Cambridge, Md. Funeral services will be held from Mt. Pleasant Church Sunday afternoon conducted by Rev. Charles M. Elderdice. Interment will be made in the Crisfield Cemetery.
