Description	:	Cery Blanche Davidson was born in 1875 in Rock Co.,Wisconsin to Ellen Jane Lowry and Joseph Davidson. By 1887 the family had moved Cery and her three older sisters, Genevieve "Jennie", Alice, May(b)ella, and brother Robert Lowry, second youngest sibling to Alexandria, South Dakota. There her youngest sibling, Nellie Winifred was born. The family joined the Mcmaster relatives who had moved from Rock Co. several years prior. There her youngest sibling, Nellie Winifred was born. The family joined the Mcmaster relatives who had moved from Rock Co. several years prior. Her maternal Grandma Mary McCann Lowry moved there from Janesville, Wisconsin as well with her Grandfather Robert Lowry died in 1875. She grew up and had the joy of marrying Dean Griswold Blackman in 1904 in Alexandria. There Cery gave birth to 5 children, 3 of whom died young - Ellen Winifred, Donald Lowry,& a third child Helen . Son George Francis, was born in 1908, and eventually was married- he and Marguerite Blackman moved on and eventually were laid to rest in Black Hills National Cem. Her son Norman born in 1914 grew up, married and blessed her with her only 6 grandchildren in the Sioux City, So. Dakota area. Her husband farmed in the Wayne township, with his widowed mother living with the family and noting they had a housekeeper Addie Burke, living with them. Cery's parents were both born in Ireland and married in Ireland, thus it was unknown that Cery met the (William)Davidson grandparents. At the early age of 43, in 1918, she was laid to eternal peace in Greenhill Cem., Alexandria, where her infant children were laid to rest. Dean joined her later into eternity.
