Description	:	Butte Buisnessman Charles C. Lussy of 900 West Gold St. passed away in a local hospital on Saturday evening following an illness. A native of Great Falls, Montana, he was born on September 13, 1916, the son of pioneer residents Charles F. and Yvonne Paumie Lussy. The Paumie family moved to Butte in 1887 from Paris, France, to operate the Paumie Dry Cleanning in Butte. Charles was raised in Montana, Los Angeles, and Cincinnati. A native of Great Falls, Montana, he was born on September 13, 1916, the son of pioneer residents Charles F. and Yvonne Paumie Lussy. The Paumie family moved to Butte in 1887 from Paris, France, to operate the Paumie Dry Cleanning in Butte. Charles was raised in Montana, Los Angeles, and Cincinnati. He was educated in St. John's Military Academy in Los Angeles. Xavier High School and Xavier University in Cincinnati Ohio. He and his first wife, Vivian M. Lussy, were married in Cincinnati on May 10, 1941. They returned to Butte in 1953. They owned and operated Lussy Motors, and from 1960 to 1981, operated Paumie Cleaners. He also worked for the National Film Exchange for 15 years. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Charles was preceded in death by his wife, Vivian, in 1969; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. C.F. Lussy; brother, Henry F. Lussy, and step-daughter Ruth Ann Leveque. He married Catherine Leveque on August 19, 1972, in Butte. He was a member of St. Patrick's Parish, Butte Chamber of Commerce, Past President of Butte Dry Cleaning Association, Toastmasters and Rotary International. Surviving relatives include; Wife, Catherine Leveque Lussy of Butte; sons and daughters-in-law, Charles H. and Mary Anna Lussy of Westminster Ca., and Robert P. Lussy of Missoula; daughter and son-in-law, Bonnie and Raymond J. Martinich of Belleville Ill.; step-son and daughter-in-law, Jerry and Mary Jo Leveque of Spokane Wash.; step-daughter, Connie Leveque of Helena. Five grandchildren: Yvonne M. Martinich, Houston, Texas; Raymond J. Martinich Jr., Carbondale, Ill.; Christine M. Martinich, Belleville, Ill.; Joseph P. Lussy and Nicole M. Lussy of Westminster, Ca. Ten step-grandchildren: Yvonne M. Leveque, Renee M. Leveque and Corinna A. Leveque of Seattle, Wash.; Sally, Viola, Consuela, Bonnie Jean, Tara, Jolene and D.J., all of Helena. His remains are in Duggan Dolan Mortuary, where friends may call on Tuesday afternoon from 4 O'clock until 8 p.m. The parish vigil service will be held in the mortuary chapel on Tuesday evening at 7 O'clock. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Patrick's Church on Wednesday at 10 O'clock. Memorials are requested to Highland Hospice.
