He was a Methodist. Survivors include his wife; five sons, Edward Porter of HARDY, [ARKANSAS]. Charles Porter of Oakdale, Iowa. Harvey Porter of Washington, Iowa. Hover Porter of Pollock Pines, California, and James Porter of California; three daughters, Mrs. Ruby Gray of Grand River, Iowa, Mrs. Pearl Jones of Lamoni, Iowa, and Mrs. Betty McDowell of Providence, Kentucky; three brothers, Earl and Joe Porter of Cumberland, Iowa, and Ray Porter of Council Bluffs, Iowa; a sister, Mrs. Pearl Lehman of Cumberland, Iowa; 18 grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren.
