He departed this life October 4, 1962, at the age of 88 years and 26 days. He was one of nine children. Buster Charles Franklin Buster, son of William Harrison and Margaret Jane Buster, was born September 9, 1874, near Lawrence, Kansas. He departed this life October 4, 1962, at the age of 88 years and 26 days. He was one of nine children. He was united in marriage to Elizabeth Ellen (Bessie) Mills on October 16, 1895, and to this union were born five children. 1. William Dillon Buster 2. Ernest Oscar Buster 3. Alta Mae Buster 4. Earl Russell Buster 5. Dorotha Pearl Buster Preceding him in death were his wife and three sons. He was a member of the North Branch, Jewell, Kansas, Friends Church and upon moving to Esbon, Kansas, he and his wife joined the Evangelical United Brethren Church. Being in failing health, he spent the last three years in a nursing home. "Our loss is his gain, No more pain or sorrow, No worries to fret him, No cares to beset him, Calm and quietness now reigns." He was interested in others and was a good neighbor and father. He leaves to mourn his loss, two daughters, 1. Mrs. Virgil J. Bailey of Dallas, Texas and 2. Mrs. Henry Gibbs of Esbon, Kansas; two sons-in-law, Virgil J. Bailey and Henry Gibbs; two brothers, 1. Harve O. of Burr Oak, Kansas and 2. Loren E. of Ankeny, Polk, Iowa; seven grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren and numerous relatIves and friends. Reverend Loren Silsby of Republic, Kansas, conducted the service, assisted by Reverend Dewitt T. Miller of Esbon, Kansas. Mr. Earl Silsby sang two numbers, "God Understands", and "Beyond the Sunset", accompanied by Mrs. Allene Davis. pallbearers were Dean Buster, Wilfred Buster, Paul Pritts, Vaden Buster, Willis Buster and Ernest Blattner. Interment was in the Northbranch Cemetery
