Description	:	His family called him Fran since his father went by Charlie. Everyone else called him Charlie. He thought Fran was too much like a girl's name. He went only to the end of 9th grade in school. In 1927 at age 15 he started full time work as a machinist at "The Foundry", a casting and fabrication facility for the copper smelter for the Anaconda Copper Mining Company (ACM). He worked for the ACM in the Anaconda foundry the remainder of his working career. In 1930 he was a apprentice machinist. In 1936 he was a drill press boy. In 1939 he was a drill operator. In 1956 he was a machinist helper. In 1972 he retired as a radial drill press operator. He married Stella Marie Finnegan 20 December 1938 in Anaconda. After their marriage they rented in an apartment building for a few years, then bought the small home in the pictures. He sold that home at a loss in a few years due to a strike and trying to buy a different home. He also had many years of medical payments from his wife's surgeries. As a result, he rented for the remainder of his life. He was an honest man who never took a thing from anyone that he hadn't earned. They had four children: Charles Thomas "Chuck" Post ( 1939 - ) John Joseph "Jack" Post (1943-2021) Linda Jean Post (1945 - ) William Lewis Post (1956 - ) The cause of death was esophageal cancer that also paralyzed his vocal cords. A rare cancer except in chronic smokers. He smoked all of his adult life. He even "rolled his own" cigarettes that had no filters.
