He was the loving husband of Agnes Louise Angle Clements whom he married on April 19, 1947 in Holy Angels Catholic Church, Avenue, MD. He was the loving husband of Agnes Louise Angle Clements whom he married on April 19, 1947 in Holy Angels Catholic Church, Avenue, MD. He is survived by nine children as well as 20 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his daughter Margaret Ann, his granddaughter Stacey Michelle Reintzell, his great-grandson Seth Joshua Morgan and his siblings William, Joan, Paul, Scott and Albert Clements. A lifelong resident of St. Mary's County, Charlie was a supervisor of the Department of Public Works for the U.S. Naval Air Station at Patuxent River, MD, retiring on May 31, 1975. He was enlisted in the U.S. Navy from April 5, 1945 to May 19, 1946. Pallbearers at the funeral were Jason Reintzell, Daniel Clements, Bill Jarboe, Shawn Elliot, Andrew Ratliff and Ralph Morgan. Honorary pallbearers were Charles Clements and Shay Tiger. Contributions may be made to Leonardtown Volunteer Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 299, Leonardtown, MD 20650 and/or Hospice of St. Mary's, P.O. Box 625, Leonardtown, MD 20650. Arrangements provided by the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home, P.A.
