Moyer Concordia Blade 28 August, 1902 -- It becomes our sad duty to record the death and burial of Homer Moyer, son of Mr. and Mrs. E.E. Moyer. Charles Homer Moyer was born September 28, 1891, in Aurora, and died August 23, 1902. The cause of his death was an appendicitis, probably brought on by a fall a short time ago. The Rev. Charles Homer Moyer was born September 28, 1891, in Aurora, and died August 23, 1902. The cause of his death was an appendicitis, probably brought on by a fall a short time ago. The Rev. George McKay preached the funeral sermon and a large number of people attended the service. Homer was a constant attendant and member of the Aurora Sunday School and the members of his class followed the remains to the church from the home. At the church they sang his favorite song, "Follow Me." Homer was a good boy, kind and affectionate, always good natured and cheerful. He will be greatly missed by his playmates and friends. The family has the sympathy of the entire neighborhood in their affliction. The burial was at Princeville Cemetery where other relatives are buried.
