Karen Bash will officiate the 10:00 a.m. services from the First Christian Church. Lois Shirbroun will serve as organist and vocalists will be Sam and Corrine Cretsinger. Charles, son of Orvle Ray and Elizabeth Tremain Robison, was born August 19, 1914 at Detroit, Michigan. When he was six months old, he moved with his family to Coon Rapids where he started grade school. After several years, the family moved to Hardy, and eventually to Rochester, NY. In 1932, the family returned to Coon Rapids where they operated the Robison Garage. Charles continued in the garage business after his father's death. Charles was united in marriage with Ila May Pierce on June 20, 1937 at Coon Rapids. Three children were born to this union. Charles and Ila continued in the garage business until his retirement in 1976. Charles was a member of the First Christian Church where he served as Elder and taught Sunday School. He was also a member of the volunteer fife department, serving as chief at one time. In 1977 Charles and Ila moved to Yuma, Az., returning to Coon Rapids in 1990. He had been in failing health since his retirement and died at home, 307 First Ave., Coon Rapids, on Monday, March 7, 1994 at the age of 79 years, six months and 16 days. He was preceded in death by his parents; by two greatgrandsons: Mark Peterman and Steven Norvel; and a sister-in-law, Marvene Robison. Survivors include his wife, Ila, of Coon Rapids; three children: Charles Scott Robison and his wife, Nancy, of Kansas City, Ks.; Ila Jeannette and her husband, LeRoy Olson, of Sac City; and Perle Ray Robison and Sandra of Portsmouth, Rhode Island; 16 grandchildren; 16 great-great grandchildren; one great-greatgranddaughter; three brothers: Robert Robison and his wife, Phyllis, of Buffalo, Mo.; Orvle Robison and his wife, Ruth, of Cold Springs, Mn.; and Keith Robison, of Truth or Consequences, New Mexico; a sister, Beth and her husband, Nyal Pierce, of Guthrie Center; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
