Description	:	Coon Rapids Enterprise January 5, 1940 Mrs. O. R. Robison, 46, one of the community's best loved women, died at her home here Friday morning after an extended illness. She underwent an operation at a Carroll hospital in August, of 1938 in hope of obtaining relief, but instead gradually failed. Funeral services were held at the Coder Funeral Home Sunday afternoon with the Rev. M. K. Funeral services were held at the Coder Funeral Home Sunday afternoon with the Rev. M. K. Belanger of the Christian church, of which deceased had long been a faithful member, conducting the final rites. Burial was in the local cemetery with Roy Buckley, Chas. W. Rippey, C. A. Nelson, Amos Howard, Fred Betts and Estus Cretsinger acting as casket bearers. Mrs. Robison was born in Coon Rapids Nov. 9, 1893, the daughter, of Benj. and Rachel Tremaine who were among the community's best known citizens. Benj. Tremaine was a veteran of the Civil War and a member of the local G.A.R. post. Graduating from the Coon Rapids high school, Mrs. Robison took a normal training course and for a number of years followed the profession of teaching. She was teaching the Pingrey, school south of town when on Nov. 9, 1913 she married Ray Robison. They lived in this community until 1925 when they moved to Hardy, Iowa. The following year they moved to Rochester, N.Y. and in 1932 returned to Coon Rapids. Mrs. Robison took an active part in church work. She was a teacher in the Christian church, superintendent of the junior department of the Sunday school and at the time of her death was church treasurer. She is survived by her husband, and five children; Robert of Panora, and Charles, Orville, Beth and Keith at home. Also by two brothers; Jonathan and Roy of Bedford, Oregon, and two sisters; Mrs. Frank Pulver of Bayard and Mrs. Mable O'Kane of Del Paso, Calif.
