Haller, 71, 5102 Bancroft Avenue, Lincoln, who died in Lincoln at 12:25 p.m. yesterday, will be held at 9 a.m. Wednesday at St. Bonaventure's church here, with Rev. Fr. Athanase, pastor, officiating. Burial will be made in the Catholic cemetery. His death followed a year's illness of heart disease. The body was brought here yesterday afternoon by Edward Wegrzyn, of the Gass Funeral home, who drove there in company with Mr. Haller's brother-in-law, Edward Branigan, of Columbus. Mr. Haller was related to the Branigan families here through marriage to Mrs. Haller, who was Miss Ellen Agnes Branigan of Columbus. She was residing in Cheyenne when she met Mr. Haller, and they were married there on Jan. 3, 1900. Mr. Haller was born on Jan. 4, 1865 in Chicago, and came to Webster country, Nebraska, in 1885. He joined the navy in 1892, served for five years and then located at Cheyenne, Wyo. In 1905 the Hallers moved back to Webster county, and farmed. Moving from there to Hitchcock, Neb., in 1918, he farmed there until he moved to Lincoln in 1934. He was a member of the Holy Family Catholic church in Lincoln. He is survived by his wife; two sons, Charles M. Haller, of Lincoln, and Louis F. Haller, of Ogden, Utah; three sisters, Mrs. Josephine Bagg, of Lincoln, Mrs. Mary Nehring, of Culbertson, Neb., and Mrs. Regina Bogart, of Kansas City, Mo.; two brothers, L. P. Haller, of Culbertson, and Frank J. Haller, of Bladen, Neb., and three grandchildren. The body will be at the funeral home until tomorrow, when it will be taken to the Jack Branigan home, 1561 Twenty-first avenue, where it will lie in state until the hour of the funeral.
