Description	:	Obituary From "Ottumwa Courier," June 9, 1960: Charles M. Giltner, 59, of 178 Vogel Avenue, died Wednesday at 3:40 p.m. at the St. Joseph Hospital after an illness of less than a week. Mr. Giltner was a veteran auto salesman and was employed at the Akerman Auto Co. He had been a resident of Ottumwa for 35 years and of Wapello County all his life. He was born November 6, 1900, in Wapello County, the son of Edward and Mary Giltner. On March 26, 1945 in Kansas City, he was married to Jennie Atkinson, who survives. He was a member of Olive Branch Lodge No. 21, A.F.&A.M. of Agency. Besides his wife he is survived by two sisters. Mrs. P.C.Warder and Mrs. Rita Hickman of Ottumwa and two brothers, Ray Giltner of Ottumwa and Lloyd Giltner of Agency. Funeral services will be Friday at 2 p.m. (DST) at the Jay Funeral Home with the Rev. Paul M. Hann, D.D., of the First Methodist Church in charge. Burial will be in Ottumwa Cemetery with Masonic services at the grave.
