Description	:	Charles N Giddings, aged 52, a broker, and for many years connectec with the Amalgamated Sugar Co, died Monday evening at the family home, 2454 Adams ave, following a siege of pnuemonia. The end came rather unexpectedly, as up to 36 hours prior to death he had been recovering nicely from the attack. He was a son of William and Helen Nelson Giddings, born in Logan, Iowa, Dec 26, 1877. The family moved to Ogden in 1887. Mr Giddings was graduated from the Ogded High school and later became a special student in the Leland Stanford university, taking up chemistry. He returned to Ogden and entered the employ of the Amalgamated Sugar Co, remaining until 1922. He then engaged in the brokerage business for himself, which vocation he had followed since, with offices in the Eccles building. He was a member of Weber lodge No 6 F & AM, Ogden Chapter No 2, Royal Arch Masons and the consistory, valley of Salt Lake, orient of Utah. He is survived by this aged mother, 2453 Adams Ave. Ogden (Utah) Standard Examiner, February 18, 1930
