Washington Post 21 Sept 1905 HOLLIS, Charles, 50, died Tuesday of pneumonia at his home, 209 First Street N.E., Washington, D.C. His remains were sent yesterday over the B&O railroad to Martinsburg, his former home. Mr. HOLLIS was an engineer in the electrical department of the United States Capitol. He came to Washington from Martinsburg in 1893 to accept a position in the post office of the U.S. Senate and transferred 9 years ago to the electrical department. His body was accompanied by his widow, son and two brothers.
