Mr. Overmyer, who resided on the north shore of Lake Manitou, was a lifetime resident of Fulton county. He had operated his own realty firm the past 20 years at 112 East Eighth street and previously was owner of a sales agency here for Minneapolis-Moline farm equipment and Packard automobiles. Before entering the farm equpment business, he operated a chicken hatchery and feed mill at 214 East Sixth street. Earlier, he had been a lineman and later line foreman for the Northern Indiana Power company, predecessor of Public Service Indiana. Born Dec. 16, 1893, in Richland township, he was the son of Frank and Inez ALMACK OVERMYER. His first marriage was in Rochester Oct. 31, 1914, to Edyth Alma KINGERY, who died May 7, 1957. His second marriage was July 28, 1958, in Rochester to Vivian WAGONER TROUT, who survives. Mr. Overmyer farmed in Richland township as a young man and then operated the Richland Center store before moving to Rochester in 1916. He retained a lifelong interest in farming. He was a member of Grace Methodist church, Kiwanis club and Fulton County Board of Realtors and had served as a member of the Rochester township advisory board. Also surviving are a daughter, Mrs. William (June) BRINKROEGER, Scottsdale, Ariz.; a son, Jack K. OVERMYER, Rochester; two step-daughters, Mrs. David (Sally) LEININGER, R.R. 2, Akron, and Mrs. Don (Judy) ENSMINGER, Plymouth; a step-son, Phillip M. TROUT, St. Clairsville, O.; ten grandchildren; one great-grandson; a brother, Vern OVERMYER, Fulton, and his mother-in-law, Mrs. Zella WAGONER, Rochester.
