Description	:	Dayton Review September 9, 1915 CHRISTOPHER Charlotta Christina Samuelson was born in Kalmar Län, Sweden, October 11, 1828, and died in the faith of her Saviour August 30, 1915, aged 86 years, 10 months and 19 days. She grew to womanhood in her native land, and was married there to John Christopher June 5, 1844. He preceded her in death July 17, 1892. Read More	Dayton Review September 9, 1915 CHRISTOPHER Charlotta Christina Samuelson was born in Kalmar Län, Sweden, October 11, 1828, and died in the faith of her Saviour August 30, 1915, aged 86 years, 10 months and 19 days. She grew to womanhood in her native land, and was married there to John Christopher June 5, 1844. He preceded her in death July 17, 1892. The family came to America in August 1864, living about three years at Andover, Illinois. In 1867, they came to Dayton, and she has lived in this community ever since. She was the mother of nine children, three of whom survive her, Mrs. Augusta Ostrom and Elof Christopher of this place, and Alfred Christopher of Boone. She is also mourned by six grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and other relatives and friends. She has been a faithful member of the Swedish M. E. church for more than forty-five years. She loved her church and her home, and she lived in the strong faith of the Lord, knowing that her name was written in the book of life. Her funeral services were held Thursday afternoon from the Swedish M. E. church, conducted by her pastor, Rev. J. E. Johnston, assisted by the district superintendent, Rev. K.A. Stromberg, and her remains were laid to rest in the Dayton cemetery. For nearly fifty years she has witnessed the growth of her community, in which her life was spent in good works. A host of friends sympathize with the family in their bereavement.
