Ludeman, a resident of the Elim section in Chouteau county for 35 years and of Great Falls for the past 17 years, passed away at a hospital in Great Falls on Sunday afternoon after being hospitalized for the past two weeks. Read More	The following provided by Find A Grave contributor "Cara": The River Press, Fort Benton, Mont., 16 Jan 1963 Mrs. Lottie G. Ludeman Died in Great Falls Mrs. Lottie G. Ludeman, a resident of the Elim section in Chouteau county for 35 years and of Great Falls for the past 17 years, passed away at a hospital in Great Falls on Sunday afternoon after being hospitalized for the past two weeks. Mrs. Ludeman was born at Capron, Illinois, April 7, 1881, where she spent her early life. She was united in marriage there on February 20, 1900, to August Ludeman, who passed away in Great Falls in 1950. The Ludemans came to Montana in 1910 and took up a homestead just southwest of the Elim school and resided there until Mr. Ludeman retired from farming in 1945, when they went to Great Falls and purchased a home and where Mrs. Ludeman resided until her death. While resident of the Elim section Mrs. Ludeman was active in community affairs and looking after her home and family. She was held in high esteem by all who knew her and her passing will be mourned by a large circle of friends. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Grace Bateman, Great Falls; two sons, William Ludeman, Great Falls, and Howard E. Ludeman, of Geraldine; a sister, Mrs. Adolph Zimmerman, Maryville, Wash.; 14 grandchildren and 34 great-grandchildren. The remains will be brought to Fort Benton and funeral services will be held on Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Methodist church. Burial will be in the family plot in Riverside cemetery.
