Description	:	Charlotte Louise Bridgman was born to Stephen Bradley Albro and Ida Elizabeth Dennis Albro on January 6, 1923, at Fairmont. She passed away in her home, rural Fairmont, after an extended struggle with cancer on May 21, 1992, at the age of 69 years, 5 months and 15 days. She was one of 14 children in the family. She passed away in her home, rural Fairmont, after an extended struggle with cancer on May 21, 1992, at the age of 69 years, 5 months and 15 days. She was one of 14 children in the family. Charlotte grew up in Fairmont and graduated from Fairmont High School in 1940. She worked as a telephone operator until she became a full-time farmer's partner. Charlotte married Federal Bridgman of Fairmont on June 14, 1941, in her parent's home. Federal and Charlotte had two daughters, Janet and Jeanne, and lived their entire married life on the Bridgman farm. Charlotte was active in the Fairmont Community Church in which she held membership for 52 years. She was also a member of the P.E.O., Project Club, Kensington and other community activities. She was a past president of her P.E.O. Chapter AM. In church, she taught Sunday School, served on several committees and sang in the choir. Recently, she was honored with a group that had sung in the choir for 50 years or more. Federal and Charlotte also have sung duets over the years for several funerals. Some of her interests were sewing, quilting, crocheting playing bridge, cooking and square dancing. She loved the farm, raising her family there and having her grandchildren visit the farm. Her family and friends were very special to her and they received the rewards of her many talents and love. Charlotte was preceded in death by her parents, Stephen and Ida Albro; brothers, Gilbert Albro, Lewis Albro, Hubert Albro, Francis Albro, Dennis Albro, Walter Albro and Leonard Albro; sisters Merle Mitchell and Geniza Ackerman; a granddaughter, Sheri Domeier and a grandson, Bradley Cuda. She is survived by her husband, Federal; daughters and sons-in-law Janet and LeAlen Domeier, and Jeanne and Dan Cuda, both of Lincoln; grandsons and wives, David and Teresa Domeier, Jan and Trudi Domeier and Json and Tammy Cuda, all of Lincoln; granddaughter, Dawn Cuda of Lincoln; brother, Robert Albro of Bremerton, Wa.; sisters, Gertrude McClellan of Fairmont, Margaret Gibson of Palmyra, Mo., and Dorothy Albro of Bremerton, Wa.; brother-in-law; sisters-in-law; nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends. Funeral services were conducted from the Fairmont Community Church on Tuesday, May 26, 199, with Rev. Tony Woodward officiating. Nancy Jo Galusha accompanied the church choir who sang "How Great Thou Art" and "Blessed Assurance." The congregation sang "Amazing Grace." Pallbearers were Alan Songster, Bill Cudaback, Joe Koca, Eric Rasmussen, Wayne Stone and Robert Better Sr. Interment was in the Fairmont Public Cemetery. The Nebraska Signal may 28th, 1992 page 7.
