The daughter of Kenneth L. and Barbara (Nevins) Barlow, Cheryl was born July 27, 1948 in Indianapolis; her father preceded her in death. On October 7, 1967 she was united in marriage to her loving husband, Steve Edwards and he survives. The daughter of Kenneth L. and Barbara (Nevins) Barlow, Cheryl was born July 27, 1948 in Indianapolis; her father preceded her in death. On October 7, 1967 she was united in marriage to her loving husband, Steve Edwards and he survives. A life- long resident of Mooresville, Cheryl was the Valedictorian of her graduating class at Mooresville High School. A loving wife and business partner, Steve and Cheryl owned and operated A.C.E. Tool & Engineering for many years. She was an active life member of Kappa Kappa Sigma Sorority and was actively involved in the Community Foundation of Morgan County. Survivors include her mother, Barbara Barlow of Mooresville; her husband of 49 years, Steve Edwards; two sisters, Jeri O'Neal of Greenfield, Indiana and Robin Barlow of Daytona, Florida; and several nieces and nephews. Along with her father, Cheryl was also preceded in death by her brother, Rick Barlow. Family and friends gathered to celebrate the life of Cheryl L. Edwards on Saturday, February 11, 2017 from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. in the chapel at Carlisle-Branson Funeral Service & Crematory in Mooresville. Rev. Terry Crist officiated the funeral service at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home. Burial followed at Mooresville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the American Cancer Society.
