Read More	* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * obit Chris Henry Kohl Chris Henry Kohl, son of George and Susan Kohl, was born in Shelby county, Iowa, Sept. 15, 1885; departed this life on July 9, 1943 aged 58 years, 9 months and 24 days. He was united in marriage to Miss Agnes Thompson, March 2, 1911. To this union were born three children all of whom survive his passing. For most of his life he was engaged in farming In Harrison county. He was a kind, loving husband and father, and was loved and respect~ ed by all who knew him. He gave his heart to the Lord in the park meetings in Woodbine in July, 1936. He had an experimental knowledge of salvation, knowing the Lord as his personal Saviour. His faith in God was unshakable to the very last; so. we can say "He has fought a good fight, finishes his course and kept the faith". He leaves behind, his beloved wife, Agnes; two sons and one daughter: Kendrick of Woodbine, Eldred of Lyons, Neb., and Mrs. George Powley of Woodbine; one brother, George Kohl of Portland, Ore.; three sisters Mrs. Inez Donaldson of Missouri Valley, Mrs. Gertrude Weed of Logan, and Mrs. Pearl Unmack of Magnolia; five grandchildren, and many other relatives and friends. One brother and three sisters preceded him in death. The funeral service, conducted Monday by the Rev. John E. Tacy, assisted by the Rev. Irvin Smith, was held in the Full Gospel Tabernacle in Woodbine. The bearers were Arthur Sauvain, Ray Sauvain, Fred Landon, Charles Miles, Ira Hunt, Harry Barnum. Music was furnished by Mrs. Herbert Purcell and Mrs. Bob Davis. Interment was in the Woodbine cemetery. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
