Mr. Kohl was a bachelor and was well known around Magnolia, where he had worked for many farmers. He is survived by three sisters, Mrs. Inez Donnelson of Missouri Val~ ley; Mrs. Bert Weed and Mrs. Will Unmack of Logan; two brothers, Chris of Woodbine and George of Portland, Oregon. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ HERBERT KOHL DIES Herbert Edwin Kohl was born near Harlan March 30,1886, and passed away at the Holeton nurs~ ing home in Logan Feb. 18, 1943 at the age of 56 years 10 months and 18 days. He is survived by two brothers, Chris Kohl of Wood~ bine, and Reuben Kohl of Port~ land, Ore., also three sisters, Mrs. Inez Donnelson of Missouri Val~ ley, Mrs. Gertrude Weed of Lo~ gan, and Mrs. Pearl Unmack of Missouri Valley. His parents died when he was a child. "Herb," as he was known, has been in poor health the last year or two and his many friends re~ gret his passing. Services were held at the Yea~ man Funeral Home in Logan Sat~ urday, Feb. 20 at 2:30 with Rev. A. R. Aleson of Magnolia in charge. Songs were "When the Roll Is Called Up Yonder," "What A Friend We Have In Jesus" and "God Will Take Care of You," by Helen Said sod Kathryn Reep, with Walter Reep at the piano. Bearers were Dick Maaske, Verne Geith, Rex Coffman, Wm. Peterson, Philip Benson and V. D. Foland.
