Description	:	State Herald, Holyoke, Colorado, July 23, 1909 Christina Rosalie Meister was born in Wortemburg, Germany April 19, 1842 and died at Venango, Nebraska June 18, 1909 at the age of 67 years and 2 months. She was united in marriage to Jacob Mauser in 1867. Seven children were born to this union, who are still living. The family came to America in 1882 and located near Holyoke, Colorado where there they lived until 1906. From there they moved to Venango. Read More	State Herald, Holyoke, Colorado, July 23, 1909 Christina Rosalie Meister was born in Wortemburg, Germany April 19, 1842 and died at Venango, Nebraska June 18, 1909 at the age of 67 years and 2 months. She was united in marriage to Jacob Mauser in 1867. Seven children were born to this union, who are still living. The family came to America in 1882 and located near Holyoke, Colorado where there they lived until 1906. From there they moved to Venango. Mrs. Mauser was converted in a Methodist revival meeting soon after her marriage and remained a faithful servant of God till He saw fit to remove her to her eternal home. She was an ideal wife and mother and did all in her power to surround her family with Christian influences. Four years ago Mrs. Mauser had a severe attack of pneumonia and after that whenever she would take cold it would terminate in pneumonia, only the attacks were not so severe but each one leaving her considerably weaker. The last attack resulted in death after almost five weeks illness. The funeral was held at the Congregational church, Rev. Marks officiating.
